Forklift Operator

Pay: $20/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations by safely loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials. Candidates should have experience operating warehouse equipment and using RF scanners in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, and clamp truck forklifts
• Load, unload, move, and store materials throughout the warehouse
• Pick and stage orders accurately
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and complete transactions
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
• Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
• Support team goals and productivity requirements

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience operating multiple forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, or clamp truck)
• Experience with RF scanners and inventory systems
• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable working at heights when required
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Shipping and receiving experience
• Inventory control experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Work Environment

Fast-paced warehouse environment with regular forklift operation, material handling, loading/unloading, and inventory movement. Candidates must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled facility and standing, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Peters, MO.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
