Description:
Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units according to established methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Assembles units for production electronic equipment, adjusts and calibrates electronic assembly systems, corrects malfunctions, analyzes test results, and assists engineers with test procedure development and product or manufacturing modifications.

#Education & Job Requirements
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks
*1+ years of experience with testing electronic assemblies
*Proficient in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state and digital circuits
*Experience utilizing Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs to accurately document maintenance actions
*Flying probe/high power test experience
*Electrical Troubleshooting
*Troubleshooting
*Basic Computer Skills
*Electronics circuit card troubleshooting and testing
*Electronics troubleshooting
*Strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
#Preferred Skills
*Familiarity with Radar Systems
*Vibration and Thermal ESS experience of both circuit card assemblies and subassemblies
*Knowledge of MIL-STD-167-1A (Vibration)
*Working knowledge of Thermal
*Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) troubleshooting
*Proficiency in Digital circuitry troubleshooting
*Experience with Flying Probe operation

*Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences
*Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications
*Adjust and calibrate electronic assembly systems as required
*Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed
*Use hand and small power tools along with various measuring and testing devices
*Determine types of tests to be performed
*Approve and suggest modifications to testing equipment
*Analyze test results to evaluate the performance of products and equipment
*Assist engineers in the design and development of test procedures for new products
*Recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications
*Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
*Troubleshoot to the component level
*Utilize schematic diagrams to isolate failures on Analog and Digital circuitry
*Produce work at a high level in support of customer schedules
